Join in Celebrating Social Media Day!

Many of the world's internet savvy social media fiends already know about Mashable.com and how it is a top source for news in the digital and social media realm. Mashable has always been a celebration of web culture and all things tech-related, so in the spirit of a celebration last year, they created Social Media Day. The day was described by Mashable's writers as a "global celebration of the technological advancements that enable everyone to connect with real-time information and communicate from miles apart," and the second annual Social Media Day celebration is coming up pretty soon. On June 30th, Mashable readers all around the world will meet up to celebrate everything the site has brought to the world and how it has changed global culture as a whole. Just in NYC a Social Media Day celebration is being held at Brooklyn Bowl with free bowling from 6-7 p.m. and networking opportunities all night long. There are different celebrations you can find all over the globe, check some out on Twitter by searching #smday or on Mashable's website. What will you do to celebrate this joyous occasion?
